Irish Draught stallion Rhyd's Sea Quest has arrived in Virginia from Ontario for the 2009 and 2010 breeding seasons. He is standing at Equine Reproduction Concepts ("ERC"). The breeding shed will open Feb.15 for the six month period prior to his going to the National Show of the Irish Draught Horse Society (North America) to be held in Lexington,Virginia Oct. 1-4, 2009.
Breeding and rebreeding inquiries should be directed to his owner's email seagingerfarms@gmail.com.
In addition to collecting and processing semen for 55 stallions annually, (including a stallion drive-thro' option), Dr. Dippert offers many other services (please review www.equinereproduction.com), including embryo transfer, fertility evaluation and management, artificial insemination, practical classes, and foaling services. The "ERC" facility is strategically located in Amissville (near Warrenton, Virginia which is only an hour west of Washington, D.C.), making same day shipments possible to many farms. The basic stud fee of 1,500 USD may be waived in whole/ part (and only the 500 USD booking fee due), for clients who were affected by delays at U.S customs in 2008. Substantial discounts are offered to registered purebred Irish Draught mares, as well as to both mares and mare owners who previously had breedings to the stallion over the past twelve years.
